Google Disavow Links Tool Now Available

The long-awaited Google Disavow Links Tool is now available. Google’s Distinguished Engineer Matt Cutts announced the new Google Webmaster Tools feature today during his PubCon keynote, urging all SEOs and webmasters to proceed with extreme caution.

The whole google algorithms system is in disarray. Through different panda and penguin updates they tried to discount so-called unnatural links and ended up penalising many genuine sites.

Now they want the webmasters to do their job. It's not easy to define a bad or unnatural link? It's very much subjective. What is long-awaited? I was not waiting for that! It's doomed to fail again like other previous moves.

I like the "Proceed with caution" warning.

How many people you think are gonna run right out and delete all the links they *think* are bad, only to find that's what was actually propping up their sites?

What we need is serious competition; yahoo and bing don't have muscles. Google has become a monster. This is not good for the industry.
