Google for SEARCH page on my site... OK to do?

If I wanted to add a page to my website that is a SEARCH page... and a search page ONLY... as in, NO other content.... is that OK with Google?

I have sites where a I have a search bar in the site, amongst the content... but in THIS instance, I'd have a page with just the search bar, catagory links to site listings, a few featured sites and some ads.

Sample can be found HERE where it is temporarily hosted until I'm done with developement.

Is this against the TOS?

Your left vertical group has content! No, it looks like this is not in violation of the TOS in my opinion. Many sites have a similar search page and still have the Ads within.

Right now, the contect says "text, text, text...." because I haven't ADDED it yet. The point of the question is regardless of content, can you have a site BASED on the search feature?

The idea for the contect, just so you know, is to explaing all the different advanced search features available that most people don't even know about... search features like INURL and other such adds and shortcuts.

Then, of course, with their newfound tips and tricks, they can effectively and efficiently search for what they want.

I would do the entire site with my won search engine if I had such a script but Google is pretty much my only option for keeping it in-site.

Thanks for everyone's input... I can't actually find anything in the Google TOS that specifically addresses this.

Oh, and if anyone DOES know of a search script that is good, please let me know

^^^oh yea if you plan to put some good content i dont think there is any TOS violations someone correct me if i am wrong
