I am new to this and do not understand how google ranks search results. I have some sites listed with 1plus.net, and one of my sites was listed 1st on the second page of google search results for several days. Now I looked today and within several hours I can't even find it in the results? Can someone explain how it can fall so fast with no changes to the site or anything else? Thanks for the help! Hard to say without knowing anything about your sites. What do 1plus.net sites look like? Do you have useful, fresh content? If not, they may have been classified as spam sites and dropped from the index.

If these are simple parked pages, there's no way they can maintain a high ranking on Google. Perhaps they used to be websites and had good back links that enabled them to rank highly, but now that they're parked they will not maintain that ranking.

With 1plus.net you get mini sites but its not easy to optimize them as they want. Only what you can do is get more inbound links. Its not easy to keep the same rank in a search engine everyday. specially if you are among first 10. People below you do their best to pass you can if you don't keep up then you go down.

Yes agree on that 1plus.net point. Position changes in the index too.

One thing that bluearrow told above is the very nice tip. We need to think that if we are on number 1 then also it doesn't means we are invincible. If other 10 people are trying their best and if they did achieved better ranking then yours in the index then you will surely be moved to 11th place.

I am not saying it is that simple calculation. But I think the above thing will give you some idea.

If some parts of your optimization are weak you can cover them up by using other techniques too. EX: lets say you cannot control much content in 1plus. So you will have to work 2 or 3 times harder in link building and other ways to atleast keep up with competition.

You can also try it other way like release free scripts or make tools that link back to your site.

Everytime SEO can be done differently and that is why the person doing it would have to be innovative.
