I looked through through Google Adsense TOS and policies, but I am still confused. I'm just looking for a clear cut answer on whether it is ok to place Adsense Content Ads on a search result page? I can see this as understandable because I noticed google's adsense bot has to visit the search result page too. I remember reading somewhere that it's not ok to do that, but maybe i read it wrong.

I'm using searchfeed right now, but they suck... only like $0.004 a click :( . I definetly need something extra on those pages. Thanks.

I believe in this case - It is against the TOS - As it is adding their results within other PPC Results .....

Yes, that's true but I don't think that's the case here. It's my understanding that the results page is generated from an internal search function.

No you're not allowed to or No it's not against the TOS?

It's my understanding that if the search results are PPC listings than you would not be allowed to have Adsense on the page.

I just checked their support center and it says this:

Can I display ads on search results pages?

Google ads can be placed on search results pages.

Alternatively, Google AdSense for search offers publishers the opportunity to provide search to their users, and to earn money from Google ads served to the search results pages. By simply adding an AdSense for search box to any web page that meets our program policies, publishers can offer web search (and, optionally, site search) and benefit from Google-hosted, customizable, and monetized search results pages. For more information, please read the 'AdSense for search' section of our FAQ.

As I remember originally putting Adsense on search results was not allowed, but it seems this has changed. I don't see the wording in the TOS that outlaws it anymore.

Yeah, that's probably it. Hopefully that adsense help answer is not out-dated. :)

Thanks for the help.
