I don't understand, maybe I can get some ideas/answers from you guys.

For the past 10 days my google adsense stats have gone WAY down. I'm running the ads on http://www.capitalistblogger.com - 2 on each page. The site is getting around 60 uniques per day with over 100 page views per day.

For 3 weeks adsense was registering around 200-300 ad impressions per day. For the past 10 days though, each day has resulted in under 15 impressions. Click rates have also gone from around 1.5% to 0 clicks in 10 days.

All ads are also optimized, PSA are not being shown.

I have tried multiple times to contact google about this with no luck, I only get the generic emails telling me to make sure I am comparing similiar days and times, they are of no help

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and how I could fix it?

Nick

I would not say that...i got my mobile site and its recieving nice amount of hits. In fact my earnings have skyrocketed in last 2 months.

I was averaging around 100 -150$ a month for last 3 months. Now this month and last months average is around 300-400$ infact i am already 100$ up in last 5 dayz. Thats a lot i guess.

please see if ur site is displaying the ads properly or not.

Ah, I thought it was only me. I am noticing almost 400% drop in my adsense revenue. I consistently averaged $.45 ~ .$50 per click for over 8 months until August X, 2005 ... since then it's dropped to as low as $0.10 per click. I run a tech authority site and the industry minimum per click is $0.35.

I suspect it may be b/c of AdWords launching it's CPM program where the advertisers can hand-pick websites in the Google Adsense network to show their ads and bid as low as $1.00 CPM. And all those advertisers are hitting on our clean high CTR website's w/ their low rates? :D Or did Adsense change the algorithm?
No clue, I am just guessing ...

I'm keenly waiting for YPN to launch internationally so I can apply. :)

Cheers!

Your not the only ones i have noticed a huge reduction in mine also. Over 300 uniques a day on my sites yet the payout on clicks has reduced overall a good 60%

It all depends on your visitors behavior, the content of the site, and what type of site. If your site your talking about is a forum for example, if has an extremely low ppc. Also as RJ stated in another post, the more tech savey a user is the less likely they are to click on a ad.

i can see from this thread, google is going to have to do something if they want to keep their publishers.

My hope is that yahoo runs the gamit in ad pub biz,And google goes down.To much is at stake to leave our websites in thier hands at this point imo,Thier website indexing has virtually gone null aswell imo,So to see yahoo pub take over aswell as thier search engine would be somewhat of a blessing for all imo.Google is doing it to thier selves and thier support by webmasters is seeming to fall aswell.

Google is a big company now .. they don't care what you think, they will implement what they think best for you.

I prefer keyword ads, sure revenue per click. Instead of .01 - .10 on context ads.

I must say - It is rediculous ..... I have Goog on all of the pages on one of my sites other than the index where I placed YPN to test it. 12 clicks yesterday at goog was less than the 1 click at YPN I received ..... Same category of keywords BTW - :|

Weird - check out the domain of this advertiser I just seen on this page - the name seems to be a take off from another "Domain/Hosting" Site huh ?

My cents per click average has also gone down substantially. My overall revenue has gone up, though, due to the increase in traffic at one website. Bring on competition!

For the thread starter, it looks to me like the google ads are not in a very good location. Did you move them? I'm sure you could do better if they were more to the left and top.
