NOTE: This only works for Godaddy registered domains.

Link your Afternic account with your Godaddy account via "List for Sale."

If you do not want your Afternic account linked with your Godaddy account, create and link a separate Afternic account for the sole purpose of support-free errant Afternic listing removals.

Login to your Godaddy account.

Select the domain/domains you wish to override.

Click/tick "List for Sale," set the prices and publish. That's it!

The previously listings are immediately removed, hassle free and you're good to go.

If you created a separate account for this workaround, you can delete the listing and re-add it your main Afternic account.

Thanks, I just tried this with a domain that was listed by the previous owner. It works!

UPDATE:

They're killing off the LFS on March 31st.

Translation: They're killing off the only efficient errant listing workaround for Afternic.

If you don't have an Afternic agent and you don't want listing downtime waiting for support to get around to it, I suggest everyone take advantage of it while you can.
