So i called in cus i forgot to make a payment on my tdnam i was callin to unlock it and the guy helped me as much as he could but said they had to get back at me at the end of the convo the guy tried to sell me edu3d.com he said he was offering it to me in a "special" this shit was funny i had to share

ok let me more detailed i did it right after i called and just wanted to get it out there basically i called in for a service call to try to get my account back and running and the guy tried to sell me a domain instead of fixing it he said the person who would fix it would get back at me through email but that he had edu3d.com for a special price, reg fees just for me lol

I gotcha. Was it a hosting related problem? More then likely he had to submit to to AHS (Advanced Hosting Support) or even ATS (Advanted Tech Support). Neither of those derpatments deal with customers via telephone.

Anyhow, Im surprised he offered to sell you one of his own domain names. Talk about against GD Policy. He'd probably be fired if Quality Assurance heard that convo.

GD's customer service when you call always will try to sell you something "services" they are pushed to do that + they get comm, but in your case yes it is funny to ask csts if they want to buy a domain lol

naw it dont cancel it , it just blocks it til u pay and sometimes fines u

This whole story about the rep trying to sell you that domain sounds like a bunch of BS to me!

You started this post on 6-1-2008 but the domain was registered by eNom on May 27th. You said the rep was going to sell it for Reg Fee, but it wasn't even available. I am assuming you placed your call on June 1, since it's common to make a post right after something happens....

I have never heard of any rep trying to push available or even expired domains at any registrar. Hosting or SSL yah, but not domains!
