GoDaddy has given me the highest cpc's so far -- How's that possible?

bear with me as i've only been doing this for a few weeks.

this is gonna sound corny but i've been getting the best CPCs at my original godaddy cash parking account. is this perhaps because of the high ctr since i started my names there and moved many over to the various services? for eg: one site was getting 1.98 per click at godaddy, now its getting .29 at parked.

at least for me, sedo.com has been the worst for cpc's averaging less than .05 per click!

parked is efficient, fast and thorough with reporting and i love their templates (the best). i'm just concerned about the cpc's being so low. looks like they default the .29 in the beginning and then the real price comes in after 2 days or so.

i just got approved for trafficz and activeaudience so am gonna test some domains there.

eventually these are all gonna get built up into sights anyway. can anyone shed some light on the huge disparency in my CPC rates with different companies?

thnx

oh thts goood.. I have not heard much about godaddy parking.. I see hardly few people using them i feel...

I wanted to give a try to them but Just coz of payment terms for international customers i didnt.

They pay quaterly to international customer and after that to get cheque its 45 days .. So nearly 5 months and till the time u need to pay there montly charges.. It doesnt seem good i feel

anyways good luck

I have not tried Godaddy parking, the idea of paying to park just seems wrong to me, but congrats on your nice CPC!

I don't think any one one parking program works best for all names and all categories and if I had a name that got a large amount of parked traffic I would try many different parking programs to see which one paid the best. There does seem to be some consensus that it won't be SEDO :cy:

I wonder if this was a fluke for your specific keywords at Godaddy or if they offer better CPC since you have to pay to park. Very interesting and thanks for sharing :!:

Run, I believe you have to pay GoDaddy to park with them... i.e. "Cash Parking". From what I last heard, they charge you 15 bucks/month per domain to get 70% of the advertising revenue on your parked domain. And the 70% figure of "what"? They never let you know what the actual 100% is. So you have to be satisfied thinking you've made 70% of something...

2 of my friends reported that godaddy initially gave them fantastic CPC's to lure them into adding more domains. After a while, those same domains started yielding next to nothing. I may be wrong here but...thats the impression I got

Cash parking is a joke. I would never bother to pay a parking company to park my domains.

the cash parking is 9.99 a month for all domains, yes they take a 80/20 spilt on that plan

actually if you pay $191 up front then no monthly fees for 2 years up to 500 domains, still 80/20 split.

honestly, the best part is being able to get a hold of someone on the other line instantly. the biggest problem with the parking companies that i've dealt with is the big lag in response time to emails and no phone numbers to get a hold of someone.

but then again, you could say the same thing about google too

will let you know how things go, so far things been good but am already noticing CPCs slipping, but at least they started high :D

sedo started from the rock bottom and keeps digging deeper on my cpcs D-:

Run,

Thats terrible.... I would recommend giving parkingpanel.com a try - I use them and thus far have been the best for my portfolio.

That was in the coming... the big daddy made its mark again. Hopefully you didnt pay them the 191 bucks for their super 80:20 plan.

Keep your eye on ActiveAudience, You'll love their landing pages and control but they don't pay for all the clicks. They show wierd numbers also, 1 visit 49 page views and no clicks.

Many clicks mysteriously vanish and revenue runs 24hrs behind.
