GoDaddy Foreign Payee Account - Doubts

Hi,

i'm new to here. I just listed two of domains as premium in godaddy.

it ask some tax related information to complete.

i got the link "http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/1437/entering-payee-tax-information"

but godaddy officials didn't confirm the form W-8BEN? or W-8ECI? for non us resident.

i'm from india. anyone already submitted from india?,
please help me to fill form.(i'm not aware of TIN like terms)

Not that I know what those acronyms stand for. But as far as I know, if you live outside the US, you only need to fill out the W-8BEN form. Maybe if you live in Canada it might be different.

ITIN : Individual Taxpayer Identification Number

W-8BEN is for non US residents. W-8BEN has a field for ITIN

ITIN is required by non US residents to file US tax returns.

It 'appears' writting ITIN in the form is not required for non US residents, who do not file US tax returns.

I am trying to ascertain if others ( specially from India) have taken and written ITIN on the form?
