GoDaddy Drops... Is it my imagination?

Is it my imagination that the number of domains dropping on GoDaddy Auctions has increased? The number of $5 drops for both the 1st and 2nd of January are about 6k/day. Even in December 2014, I only remember (I wasn't counting) about 3k/day. Which is approx 100% increase?

Except that general availability I think wasn't until end of January '14.

Though sunrise applicants would fall right into that time frame, end of Nov. '13. Hmm...

These are just .com domains. I used to look thru every close out .com domains ($5-$11), not every day, but about every 5 days. But now I'm tired when only looking at 1 days ($5) drops.

At the end of 2013 there was a coupon galore and many of us over registered!

Agreed i dropped 80% of my reg's from last year over the last month
