Why would someone waste $70 (Godaddy fee) to offer $150 for a $300 domain
I have a BIN on a landing page so it's not like a buyer doesn't know the price...

How does it work anyway - do they automatically transfer it to GD? Do I pay any fees?

$70 Godaddy fees + $150 offer + $30 commission (20% broker commission of $150) = $250
at domain buy service buyer must provide an initial offer and a maximum budget. so I think $150 is not buyer's final offer.

I assume buyer does not have any idea of your sale lander, because if he had seen it, he wouldn't have gone through these lengthy process just to save $50. he must have used Godaddy to hand register the domain and when he saw it unavailable, he used "Still want it? Here's what you do." link.

if I were you I would remove BIN price from landing page and make a counter offer of at least $1K. Godaddy broker will contact you again with buyer's final budget which you can accept if buyer does not have $1k budget I think he must have at least $300 maximum budget so it's a win win situation for you anyway.

Good luck with your sale.

Possibly - although it would be pretty weird not to visit the site out of curiosity.

I countered with $750, completely forgot that I already have a BIN posted.
I would be pretty happy with $300 - although I wonder if I will have to pay any fees to receive the payment like with escrow.com for example.

Buyer covers all kind of fees.

So we agreed on the price.
Domain was added to my "Godaddy Auctions" account under "Sold".
For a few days I saw "Pending Buyer Purchase"
Now it's gone and the only thing I see is "Email Buyer" - no other confirmation from Godaddy.

I guess I should wait for an email what to do next?...
It's registered at Namecheap so I will have to provide auth info code....

congrats. if "pending buyer purchase" is gone that means buyer has paid for the domain. You will receive an email from Godaddy with transfer authorize request which will include a transaction ID and a security code.

I don't know about the processes afterwards because In my case my domain was at namecheap too but it was at 60 day transfer lock period so I emailed GD broker and he created an account at namecheap and I pushed the domain to that account.

I didn't get any email yet - domain is under whoisguard and email is refreshed every 3 days so it's possible it went to already disabled email address :guilty:

@Joe Styler - how do I contact Godaddy support about it?

You should have received an email with the instructions and what comes next. If you give me the domain name in a pm I can see who is working that domain and have them contact you. You also can email them directly by replying to any email they sent you. It will route directly to the person working on your domain sale.

I wrote to domainbuy@godaddy address about the situation and they replied with what I should do next (unlock the domain and send auth info code).
Things are moving forward right now.
Thanks :)
