GoDaddy Buy Service question

Received an email from GoDaddy's Buy Service.

Someone bothered to pay for this service even though the domain is forwarding to my sale listing at GD.

What do you read into this? Do end-users think there is a better chance of success if using GD's brokerage service instead of going directly?

This would be a "plus" for me right? It's my understanding I won't have to pay commission if sold this route.

Correct, you pay no commission. It is a bit of a mystery why someone would opt for this instead of the direct route. Maybe they prefer anonymity? More likely they just don't know how to pull up a Whois record. In your case it's even more puzzling.

It must be GoDaddy's stellar team of power negotiators. :lol:

Was the offer legitimate? If so, it's likely they want to remain anonymous which are all good signs for you.
