Might have used those codes before so they are not working for you now ?

What i have noticed as of late.. some promo codes seem to be bundled in groups..

e.g. if you have used already mmo149 then jim149, plugin149, tape149 might not work anymore..
if you have not used mmo149 yet then plugin149 or tape149 might work, but after having used ie. plugin149 then mmo149 might not work anymore..

my current results using such codes seem to be pointing towards such kind of promo code "bundles" being in effect.. (note i am outside the US though, so there might be other restrictions affecting me)

Came across this whilst on a code hunt;

tde199ukv - £1.29 .com +ICANN for uk customers. Good until December.

Couldn't confirm if it worked but GD is wagging it's finger at me after using a few coupons. Applied the discount fine though. Sorry if it's already been posted.

Hey Guys,

I just finished trying 55 different coupon codes right to the most recent PLUGIN149. None of them work. Tried switching currencies (CAD and USD). Tried removing the domain, re-adding (with the code in the URL). Tried added new GoDaddy account. So I've tried 55 codes on 4 different GoDaddy accounts from different IP addresses/locations - not 1 works.

Is this normal?

Were the codes you tried used previously on these accounts? Have you tried clearing all cookies/using a completely different browser?

No, some of the codes I've never used before. Brand new to me. And I've tried using new computers in different locations as well as cleared history/cookies/cache

Have you checked to make sure there aren't any problems with your card? Or are you using a different one?

Don't think it's a credit card issue since the codes show as changing the price down to $2 or whatever BUT when I type in the captcha and click on the final submit button, that's when it changes the price back to ~$12 saying I cannot use that code

I've had issues with codes myself lately truth be told, but if you've used the same card for all the accounts it might be the issue if you're sure you haven't excessively used coupons recently. It's the only common connection especially if you've used alternate IPs and machines.

Well I tend to use a coupon on all my domain reg's so I do tend to exclusively use coupons. Just thought if I've never used a specific coupon before, I'd be able to. Yes, it's the same credit card on all GD accounts.

Not necessarily, GD obviously blocks coupon usage by card. As someone suggested earlier in the thread, try not to use coupons for a few days or so and you might find they'll work then. Else you could have a friend reg them for you, or try another card on one of the newer accounts. Also if you haven't already, you could try using a coupon that's $2.99+ or in a price range you haven't used before.

it almost does sound like a payment issue. if you are logged in and get the discount before the payment page, as long as you use a credit card and not a debit card or gift card or paypal account, it should work.

Same here. Unfortunately, this code (WOW) did not work for me. Once again, it says it applied, but then says nothing in my cart matches the code. All I'm trying to do is renew one .COM domain.
