Are you using the same email for both accounts? The code knows it's the same email and will reject.

You have to use a different payment/CC

Just to clarify with the GoDaddy 199domain code:

1) It can only be used once per account
2) It does not accept Paypal
3) You must use a different email address if you attempt to use this promo with different accounts
4) You must use a different credit card each time you attempt to use this promo

Is there anything else? And are these points correct?

sidekick, Looks like you nailed it. As many people abused the 199 code there were several of those users who were also locked out of their accounts.

I won a .us domain recently on tdnam. They wanted to charge me $19.99 for the .us renewal, plus the auction price. That's $19.99 for a .us renewal even though a stand alone .us renewal is $8.99 on their homepage. Talk about a pricing scheme sucker punch.

Anyone have a similar experience? Anyone have a tdnam code?

Yes I have the same situation.

The previous .US renewal discount code doesn't work any more.

So far the only discount I can find that works on TDNAM .US purchase is: fbfDOM10

It's a 10 % discount so the $19.99 renewal cost changes to
$17.99 which is still high.

Since no one responded to my earlier post or to yours there
may not be any other discounts available.

If I do find something I'll post it here.

Please do likewise.

Yeah, that $19.99 renewal is truly obnoxious. I called my GD executive account manager yesterday and he changed it to $7.99 for me (but just for that purchase). He also claimed that it would have been $7.29 automatically if I had been a member of their $90/year domain discount club. I haven't verified whether that really works with TDNAM or not (and they've been wrong about such things before).

Ah yes...it won't work for renewals. If you haven't used it already, FACEBOOK5 is suppose to work for .ORG renewals ($5). Report back if it does work.

Ah, that stinks! It seems like the coupons rock for .COM regs and renewels, but there isn't much other than the 15% off coupons (ie. 45NCS15) for everything else.
