GoDaddy closeout?

example: i found bunch of domains in godaddy closeout list.
if im going to buy it: $5 auction + $12 renewal I will not still recieve this domain until all dates will be expired (i mean penalty, etc.)?
If an original owner will finally renew this domain will i get my money back?

Does it worth registering closeouts?

If you do get some names from TDNAM, make sure you go here http://www.namepros.com/577802-godaddy-discount-codes-259.html and get some codes. You can usually save some $$$ from the renewal fees.
If the original owner gets his name back, you get a refund from Godaddy.

You will get the name around a week and a day after , if the owner will renew the name ( very rare ) you will get a refund .

I have bought several names through Closeouts. It is a great way to get very good domains for a very low price. I have acquired some single-word spanish names.

Sometimes you can find a good one there. But make sure you know what you are buying. Most of those are there because they are not worth much less than the price you have to pay.

Choose very carefully and make sure you have a number of potential users who could legitimately use the name (and could realistically want to pay hard cash, even if only low $xxx) before you buy.

Also it is a numbers game - I will often search hundreds or even thousands of closeout names before finding one that I feel is worth buying.

Having said that, if you check the closeout names regularly, it can be a very profitable source of good flippable names.

I have found a number of domains there, some of them while not worth millions can be worth some money, or development.

You do have to look through potentially thousands of crap names though like aaaadvertising or even crimes against the internet such as zd1eo0krzxtwhvr.info so make sure you get your coffee ready in front of you :p
