Don’t forget to cancel or review your go daddy “recurring billing” in auto renew “on” items. Next time you might change your mind and want to pay monthly or cancel it.

Check the link “payment and renewing items” under your godaddy account menu. They just billied me for a year web hosting renewal which I forgot to cancel.

I suppose that depends on the domain names and their importance. I suppose each web master can decide which domain name is better and which worth to be on autorenewal and which not.

If your name renews automatically and you don't want this to happen, then you should ask the Godaddy support for a refund. I've already done this two times and they sent the money back in no time.

Are you saying you got a refund after your domain(s) got renewed because of auto renew option. So the renewed period is cancelled and you get the refund?

GO daddy service is damn good, they did refund me and gave me option to auto renew it monthly.

Repped!

Yes, their willingness to give refunds is the best among domain registrators :)
