Hello,

I was checking something in Go Daddy Auctions when I saw one of my domain name.

I don't understand why it appears in the auction search D-:
This domain isn't register in Go Daddy, it's on another registrar and I put it in Sedo, Bodis, ParkingCrew with Above.com.

How it's possible? This domain name isn't available. I want to keep it for personal project (except if someone buy it for top $X,XXX of course ^^).
Furthermore, some of my own domains are in auction there too... I never put it on it :?

What will happen if someone bid on it? It left about 70 days but I really don't understand why is it there.

Thanks

From what I understand - from info available here on the forum
using certain places, like Sedo for example, will get your domain listed in multiple venues.

Also, if you are concerned about it selling because
This domain name isn't available. I want to keep it for personal project
don't list it anywhere ;)

and if someone wants to pay
if someone buy it for top $X,XXX of course ^^
or any amount, they will contact you...

not sure how it works if someone bids though, I mean it is listed there....so why not ;)

Yes, I'm a bit dumb in fact, it's logical. :lala:

I'll delete it from Sedo and other places.
Thanks ;)

- However, I'm still wondering what happen if someone bid on it, I can refuse it? -

Yes, if you list a Godaddy-registered domain for sale on Sedo it will be seen on the Godaddy auction list, via a Sedo/Godaddy partnership vehicle called SedoMLS.

So even if you don't list it on Godaddy it will be seen for sale on Godaddy, and if someone makes an offer for it on Godaddy, you will see the offer in your Sedo account. You have options with this offer; you can accept the price, you can counter-offer a higher price, or you can cancel the offer. If the buyer made the offer thru Sedo rather than Godaddy, you also have the option to push the domain to a 7-day auction there; but if the offer was made through Godaddy (even though you see the offer in your Sedo account), you do not have the option of pushing the domain to auction (yet; they say they are working on making this happen).
Another note: if the offer is made through Godaddy, then Sedo+Godaddy take a higher commission on the sale than if it was just Sedo. 20% commission.

Ok I see, it's pretty clear now, thanks! :)
