GoDaddy 6-month lock instead of 60 days

Anyone else experience this? I bought 2 domains that sellers had placed into auction. Instead of the normal 60 day transfer lock, I have 6 months of locks on both domains. I have had my account manager working on this for 2 months and it is still not resolved. Both of the domains were from other registrars and required transfer to godaddy after the auction ended.

I have experience that also on 1 domain. About the same time-frame. Under the exact same circumstances. It doesn't get unlocked until Oct. TBH, I've been too busy to chase GoDaddy up on it. But I do take some comfort in knowing that you have had your account manager working on it for two months without a result. It kinda helps me justify that my feeling it was going to be difficult, and just wait it out. More important things to do.

I had it happen at least once in the past but godaddy was able to get it fixed pretty quick. Not sure why it is so problematic this time.
