Came across food-gifts_net a bit ago. I almost upchucked and I'll bet they makes $$ from this thing.

With the way Google makes such a big thing about keyword spamming why in the $##@^& do they not shut off the AdWords account?

Is Google spider software half as smart as they think?

Because they still get paid ;)

In all honesty, they can't police every site. Without hiring a huge group of user-enforcing "cops", they can only nab the worst.

They are only feeding keywords to adsense's bots to display contextual ads for (perhaps) high paying keywords. Websites without real content are forbidden by google.

Thank you Virgil novice when it comes to ADSENSE, get it now that site is just over board with keywords IMO

Google have put themselves in the awkward position of sponsoring sites that pay per click and making money from the advertisers but then they're also got the problem where these sites may begin to climb the searach results and fill Google with useless search results.

Personally I don't mind a site that makes money from Google AdSense, providing they're at least making an effort to provide me with useful (non Adsense) links and relevant articles.

I know that many think Google can do no wrong but according to the followng from their Program Policies which this site violates totally.

Site may not include:
...
* Excessive, repetitive, or irrelevant keywords in the content or code of web pages
* Deceptive or manipulative content or construction to improve your site's search engine ranking, e.g., your site's PageRank
...

Webmaster Guidelines

In addition to the standards above, AdSense participants are required to adhere to the webmaster guidelines posted at http://www.google.com/webmasters/guidelines.html. Some relevant items from the guidelines are included below for your reference:

* Do not load pages with irrelevant or excessive key words.
...
* Do not create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.
...
They do everything that can be done to keep good content sites down in the name of preventing spam sites and then allow a site like this to use adwords.

What the hell ever happened to ethics -- <deleted rant> I really wonder about Google!! and I haven't even mentioned the sinking quality of Google search results. A couple days ago I was trying to find some information and all the results were nothing but forum posts so I went elsewhere and found what I was looking for first try.

I agree... forum posts are showing at the top of search results more and more!

If you feel so strongly about it, why not file a report with the adsense abuse team?

As mentioned, Google appears to be in a conflict of interest here. They make money off such sites, so how can they be expected to be truly strict about enforcing the rules?

Already done.

Yes, there is a fine line and I feel they are crossing on the dark side.

BUT... who ever said life was fair. I really hope to see the site gone before long.

Or at least gone from Adsense... While their website could theorhetically still draw traffic to a worthless site, at least it wouldn't get paid Adsense clicks (Never mind that they'll just move to Yahoo or the next big thing).

Google is too big for its own good.

Microsoft was great when it was small, but as it got bigger, more arrogant as well.
