Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone knows what GoDaddy's policy is when it comes to using their promo codes and how many times they can be used. I read in a thread on the GoDaddy support forum where they allow the creation of multiple accounts and using the promo codes on each account... but I tried this but their system still recognized that I had used the code.

Just wondering if anyone has any tips or strategies that work for them for being able to register multiple domains daily while utilizing the promo codes.

Thanks!

Godaddy stores a cookie. Either clear it or use another browser for the second account.

Generally each coupon can be used once, and if there are 3 codes for the same deal released at the same time then you can only use one of them out of that group.

It's possible that they also track payment methods as well - so if you are going to be creating multiple accounts, say one for personal use, and one for business, then use different credit cards or payment methods between the two.

Yup they sure do, each account should have a different card.

Just one account for me and I only register names with generous codes now. It only allows me a name or two a month but, it saves me a lot of money and forces to me to only register the best of my list. If I cannot sell it within a year I can let it drop. A $1 loss is not a big deal compared to registering for $10 at a time.
