How long does it take to receive fund for domains sold through godaddy auction; domain listed with fixed price?

Also what all are the option available for receiving payment.

Thanks

I know there has been a bit of discussion about waiting 21 days or something like that, but I sold a domain for $800 through auctions about 3-4 weeks ago and I received payment via PayPal within 7 days. I was pleasantly surprised!

I actually just got paid yesterday on a name that Go Daddy cleared the funds on July 26 and told me to transfer the domain.

We will send you the net proceeds from the domain name's sale in approximately 15 days.

I have had several sales in the past couple of months and I got the funds in about 8 days, I have a sale right now that sold and the buyer sent the funds last Tuesday so I am hoping its the same 8 days as the last few times.

Now, I have a VIP account so I wonder if that has anything to do with receiving funds in about a week after payment.

Does anyone else here who has a VIP account and get your payments in about a week?

Not sure if that's the reason but the last one I did x,xxx wired within a week.

@DNBro - The options for payment are in your account settings.

Thanks for the updates, anyways i have raised support request from godaddy, but i haven't heard yet probably because of weekend.

I was thinking it take 30-45 days like premium listing sales, in case it take less than 7-8 days then it acceptable.

Yeah, I have a VIP account, so maybe that's what did it.

For premium listings under 1000$, paypal payments sent in the next business day. If it is higher, or not a premium listing payment rule changes.

Well I received my payment today, 9 days after the buyer paid.
That has been the norm for me so far.

I got an update for support i requested from godaddy regarding receiving payment for domain sold through auction and premium listing.

For domains sold through godaddy auction -> 5-10 business days
For domains sold through godaddy premium listing -> 5-7 business days

If the domain is registered at Go Daddy, their system will try to move the domain automatically after the 5 day verification period. If it's successful, the seller is paid on the next business day. If the domain is not registered at Go Daddy or if the automatic move fails, then the buyer and seller need to work out the transfer themselves and payment is sent 20 days after the buyer pays.

I am still waiting for a payment for a domain I sold over 40 days ago, since then I sold another about 30 days ago, I asked support and they said wait 30 business days as I am in the UK.

Seems such a long time since my first sale, they must be bundling the two together the counting the time from the latest one.

Seems such a long time to hold funds

I would go back to them and say the first one is now 40 days, so where is the payment?

When in Godaddy do you go to check the money from a sold domain?
