Getting Click . . What traffic? How? Where?

I am wondering... advertising sites here at namepros might get me visitors. . .all well and good, but i don't make anything from my sites unless i get ad clicks, now i say, i don't only want money but if there is no income there is no other way to support my addiction . . .of domaining.

Now, what is the best way to get legit clicks? As in, what type of traffic and how would i go about getting visitors that actually click ads?

Im not a member on "Average Joe Web Surfers" forums or groups. . any tips will be appreciated with a thanks and rep

Depends on the content of your sites. Look for sites with similar content and see what they're doing.

Also, You Could Try Putting Up Ads On Similar Sites(By Similar i don't mean competitors)

The ads should be relevant to the content of your site to make the visitors click on them. Since the visitors would be looking for some information on your site they are more likely to click on the ads which may provide similar kind of information.

The placement of ads on the page also matters. Place the ads where they may grab the attention of the visitor instantly. Wrong placement of ads also harms the no. of clicks

It helps to research and HAVE TIME. Dont jump to conclusions.

I have many sets of domains where there are 3 the same names with slight variation.

Then I do 3 different things with them a 3 different Domain parkers: Like HiCholesterol.info, HiCholesterol.net and HiCholesterol.org

or

Bullseyeshopping.com, Bulls-eye-shopping.com, and Bullseye-shopping.com

slight variation in url - thne I can better test the small differences in optimizing and keyword strategies.

keep a good log and what I did ans then wait a few months and compare stats and click throughs etc.

As far as better clickthrough. Only by choosing the best parker for that domain and then testing with keywords.

sometimes a domain you inteded to something can have a far better use or meaning as something else. Also helps to know what words are worth what out there.
