hey all,
I know that registrars have a slack system that stops people from other countries registering country specific domains. I contacted the registry of .EU lately and asked them whet their rules are and they say that its for EU residents or companies ONLY. Ive also heard that they are going to have a very strict system on it. They also mentioned that to do anything about it the user would have to complain to the registrar and the registry cant physically do anything.
But imagine you owned a .US name and you lives in a differnt company... what would actually happen if someone told the registry about it, what would happen? Has anyone has any experiences where they have been found out?
