Hey all,
So it's that day, the day that the .EU domain names appear in all of their glory. All of the false people, who have lied and cheated their way to get the cream of the new domain names at the first glance. I have my pre-regs set up to fail. Being eligible, I have the right to have to wait until the 7th of April, at which time all of the good names will be long gone from people who have decided to set up a dormant limited company in britain to get the names.
As for the actual website, Purhaps with the money they make out of the registrations they could pay for an actual designer to design the EURID site. Look at all of the other registry websites, they shine with freshness... but the EURID sites looks like a guy made it using the freewebs.com WYSIWYG editor. "The replacement to .com" has the most drab look of all... I hope they make more of an effort at keeping all of the liars away from the good domain names so that us little men have at least half a chance.
On a brighter note, I am thoroughly looking forward to seeing the new .EU extensions being used, it is a fresh domain name for a fresh continent. For all of the truely eligable people, good luck at getting the name you want and all the best to you!
