advice Get hold of a domain owner

Have a domain (not developed) I want to aquire for a project. Registered with IONOS. How would you go about getting hold of the owner?

check if it is listed for sale on all major domain selling websites. if not check whois to see if there is any contact email, send an email to that address and pray for reply. list the domain here to see if the owner is around. otherwise, pay domain brokerage service to try get you that domain.
