Bill - I've gotta tell you that your lists are even more incredible
than in the past. It has been a while that I've checked your lists
out and I can say I wont let that happen again.

Thanks much for this awesome service you've been proving for "some"
time now.

Very cool of you to say that. Thanks a bunch. I'm addicted to this stuff. I can't get away from it. My wife thinks I'm insane but she doesn't complain about the extra income.

Bill,
I wish to thank you too. I use to register domains from your list a while back and have not registered any domains in a year or so. I am thinking about getting back into it but after picking all the wrong domains before I am not sure.

By wrong domains I mean that I never made much from the ones I thought were good. If I get back into it Ill be visiting this page and your email list every chance I get though!

Thanks again!

Thanks for the comments folks.

If you want to make money from the domains I post, it's a pretty simple process:

1. Get an account at WhyPark.com or Noomle.com.
2. Buy domains with a decent amount of search volume (at least 400 monthly exact keyword searches) and that have decent CPC values ($1.50 or higher, $5 or higher is ideal).
2. Put up at least one page of unique, targeted content matching the keyword phrase in the domain. Write it yourself or find a decent content writer that will do it for under $10 an article.
3. Get a few backlinks or pay the extra $1/$2 to have it included in Noomle's directory.
4. Traffic will start to come.

For an investment of $20 per domain, you'll have an asset that generates at least $5 per month in revenues and pays for itself, plus a little extra. If you park it, you'll have a liability that might earn 50 cents a month but costs you $8 every year. Parking works for premium domains but not so well for long tail keyword domains. Long tail domains must be indexed to get revenue generating traffic. Leverage your time by using the free services that WhyPark and Noomle provide. If a particular site is doing really well you can always develop it further on its own.

I put this site up 1 month ago. It was receiving about 3 visitors a month when it was parked.

DisposableBedPads.com

I know it's ugly, but... In it's first 30 days it's received 46 visitors from search engines and just 1 from type in traffic. It's made $4.50 in PPC and another $9 through Ebay's affiliate program. That's $13.50 in the past 30 days, and it should get better with time. Total time invested was about 1 hour.

Rinse and Repeat!

Once your domains become self-sustaining assets you can choose to keep them and the revenues they produce or sell them based not only on their inherent value but also on a multiple of the revenues they generate.

That's a very interesting post. The first Item 2 in particular. I just spent some time checking a bunch of my domains and a very high percentage fail that test :( What's worse is the ones that do well tend to be things in which I have the least interest in writing about.

Lots of food for thought there. Thanks for posting.

Point #2 is about being the middleman. If there's a need, or in this case people searching for specific information, provide it to them. The Google Adwords tool gives you everything you need to find keyword phrases in high demand. See which phrases are available in .com, .net and .org. The search engines "LOVE" exact match domain names, particularly in those extensions, as long as they have matching content on them.

As far as the content goes... leverage your time. It's not lazy to pay someone $10 to create an article for you, it's smart. That $10 article will likely generate at least $50 within 12 months. Your time is best spent finding more commercially viable domains because you can't trust someone else to do that. When you find a good, reliable content writer that has decent knowledge in SEO, hold on to them.

Case study #1-NN reporting in :talk:

I've used G[][]G adwords tool and have compiled a list of names
that meet or exceed the guidelines, loosely set, in your example.
I'm targeting names in the 10+k monhtly and $2.50 cut-off.

Not a lot of []coms in that traffic range but several []nets.
Should I lower my traffic numbers to include more []com names?
Or would a []net w/ 100k searches be more effective than a []com
with say 1000 searches? Assuming the CPCs are similar.

I've included a couple of []orgs for names with huge searches and
CPC over $5. I'll narrow the list from 30+ to approx. 10 - 20 unless
I just can't cut that many.
