I found that namesilo are selling half times cheaper the domains than godaddy? Is it really reliable to buy from namesilo or should we stick to our trusted godaddy?

Which one is better to use for buying domains for reselling ?

Another big difference: support.

Fast and good email support from Namesilo, every time I have needed it (have not had problems, just questions or minor needs).

Godaddy: no email support, no ticket system, just want you to ring them up even from abroad. From abroad sometimes you can get a text chat window, usually not. Had to use that recently and good thing I did not ring - took over 70 minutes to resolve my issue, that would have been an expensive phone call from the UK.

Obviously namesilo. Lots of +ves over Godaddy. better price, simple UI, good selling platform, good support, to name a few. The most annoying abt GD is upselling. As a domainer only +ve I see is they have the biggest marketplace.

NameSilo is more reliable and trustworthy than GoDaddy.

GD are able take your names out of account without giving you a reason or a heads up... There a number of threads on GD revoking domains on a whim and claiming it was a "technical issue" or something similar. Stuff like that will never happen at NameSilo. You decide.

Just my opinion.

NameSilo are absolutely the best registrar I've ever used. Without a doubt.

If you ask on a domaining forum, results will be skewed to the cheapest one because domainers tend to carry a lot of domains

NameBright is pretty much the cheapest registrar, certainly cheaper than NameSilo, but they don't get much love from domainers. NB got 2.4% of the vote in the most recent poll, while NS got 22.5% of the vote.

With a prefunded account and 750 domains this is what you pay at each:
NameBright - $8.03
NameSilo - $8.69

So I don't think results on a domain forum is more skewed to the cheapest registrar, as NameBright should have gotten much more than 2.4% of the vote if that was the case, and many registrars that have higher prices than NameBright (i.e. DynaDot, Name.com Uniregistry, NameCheap) also did much better in the poll than them.

I've tried both.
Thumbs up for NameSilo. Transparent pricing. Dynamic domain forwarding... and many more
