MarkMonitor has just listed games.com for sale on behalf of Yahoo:

Certainly one of the most premium names around. It will be interesting to see if it sells and, if it does, for how much.

It looks like they are also selling other premium Yahoo names such at ad.com and wow.com.

Not so sure about that. Gaming industry primarily does not care about domain names the way domainers want to. A lot of most earning titles do not use "exact match" domains.

Yes, some amazing names. They also list most of the names at Sedo with a minimum offer amount visible. Let's just say they are not giving the names away...

Some great domains there. But Games.com is one of the most iconic domains on the web, probably in most people's top 10 list of dream domains they would most like to own.

I don't think it's obtainable to an investor.

Great list, but I'd be shocked if a Web3 company didn't snatch up Games.com within the next 90 days.
Those Yahoo domains are priced for retail buyers.

Expect more end users to buy directly from these sort of lists and auctions moving forward.

Medal*com $185K winning bid at DropCatch by the end user Medal TV should not be overlooked by domainers. This is a factor increasing aftermarket prices, and I've seen numerous end users bidding wholesale since around 2019.
