What it does: Speed test your adsl connection and lets you embed results on forums or blogs. Alternative you can select to save results as screenshot on your pc letting you keep your own history records.
What else it does: Apart from the speed test we give the ability for other website and blog owners to host their own speed test by using our speed test widget.
You can also use our widgetbox.com widget version if you like.
What does it use: Joomla(php,css,mysql,js), custom Flash application enhanced with Google maps

sleek, modern, fast, intuitive to use - what more can i ask for? Other than getting the full speed i'm paying for, not half of it :/

Nicely done, right "on the spot"

2 things i'd add: field with the name of the internet provider and a "mail" field, if someone is unhappy with the connection, all they have to do is hit the mail button and they get their email editor of choice pulled up, with the Speed results already in the body of the email and the address field filled out.

@Mike, i had something like this in mind but i m afraid that i cant blame directly internter provider companies since its a big risk of a pending lawsuit.

@holeinone, Changing position of the button "Start Test" in top on my list, i m also having thought of swapping positions between google mpas and the test board so that google maps goes on the bottom and test board on the top.

another major change in the next few months will be moving to a new server and letting visitors choose their speed test location by continent.

Looks great and works well, Google ads blended great, a little slow to load and seemed a bit crowed to me but overall great.

I ve changed website's template in order to be more seo friendly and this helped me a lot, almost instantly.
