I haven't tried to find any empirical evidence showing a correlation between frequency of use and rate of value, but I'm sure it could be done in a day or two if someone were so inclined.

Here's a table I once made for letter frequency at the beginning of dictionary words (left - British English, right - American English). I think the starting letters are more relevant for LL, LLL, LLLL domains than just letters in general.

SCC
11.29 + 10.05 + 10.05 = First letter higher, higher average.

CCC
10.05 + 10.05 + 10.05 =

However

SEX
11.29 + 4.29 + 0.04 = First letter higher, lower average.

CBS
10.05 + 5.86 + 11.29 =

So

... 0

Well obviously any correspondence between letter frequency and domain value will be more likely with acronyms and does not apply to 2/3/4-letter dictionary words.
