Hey, im working on a project of setting up and running a project for a local airfield, however from looking on the net theres no really good free templated that are unique enough, i decided to take a shot at working on my own, what do you think?

(i didn't bother designing the tables, everyone knows what they look like lol)

PS its not complete yet, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated, im running out of ideas myself

Oh, and i do know about the typo at the bottom, i've fixed it now

Not bad for a first forum skin, but to be honest, this is just too plain. The font on the navigation is blurred and the black text on the gradient doesn't look good. I would recommend you to visit websites like Pixel2Life.com/Good-Tutorials.com to learn about more stuff you can do with Adobe Photoshop. Check out the forum designs on other forums for inspiration.

If you haven't yet, take a look at Invisionize.com. It has alot of great IPB skins!

the text on the links bar isn't real it was just to see what it will look like, its going to be HTML text.

and yeah i know its very plain, but im struggling for ideas on what to add

Looks kinda good but a little too plain. I agree, the font in the menu should be changed.You could use some pixel fonts.

i reconsidered and realised theres no point, if theres a problem with the coding in my skin it could drive users away from the forum... im just going to use a free skin and edit it
