a brazilian ex-soccer player named zagallo gave the collection to his son and he decided to put everything in this auction including the shirt that pelé (the best soccer player ever) used in the 1st half of the 1970 world cup final in mexico (azteca stadium) against italy when brazil won (4X1) and pelé scored his last goal in the brazilian team...
besides this shirt (the other he used in the 2nd half of the game i cited above was in an auction some years ago and the winning bid was about US$350,000) there are the soccer shoes of zagallo (the father that gave his collection to his son)... he used them at sweden in 1958 when brazil won its first world cup... zagallo was also the coach of brazil in 1970
there are yet almost 200 shirts of many national teams (france, germany, etc) and clubs from many places (real madrid, rome, internazionale, etc) because zagallo exchanged the shirts after the end of the games (it is a very common thing in soccer games)... some have autographs others dont and there at least 1 autographed ball as well
the starting bid for everything is about US$115,000
