Hey guys!

Just finished watching the kings of soccer win the Confederations Cup. That's right, Brazil won 4-1 against Argentina in Germany, to claim their second Confederations cup! Brazil now has won the World Cup in 2002, the Copa America last year, and now this :tu: !

Adriano with two goals, Kaka and, arguably the best player in soccer right now, Ronaldhinio also scored.

Brazil just DOMINATED! 2-0 after 15 minutes into the game. 2 more goals in the second half. All Argentina could do was get one goal on a header off of a questionable corner kick.

It promised to be an AWESOME match, and in many ways, it was. It was dramatic; thunderstorms were rattling the stadium. They closed the roof, and the weight of the water was causing the roof to buldge; and there was a constant, HUGE leak of water near the corner flag.

It was a beautiful game, and Brazil proved that it is very well the best team in the world!

I knew it when they scored 1 - 0 :| Shame IMHO. I really hoped Argentina was gonna win, but no luck this time either :(

isn't soccer that game that they force young girls to play? you know, the one with the checkered ball?

is that considered a sport now?

(actually, I watched a pro soccer game once (some world cup thingy) and it was pretty addictive)

Was a good match. Brazil are just magical to watch. There were so many passes leading up to Adriano's second goal it was unbelievable - Argentina just couldn't get a look in. They're on top of the world at the minute, great fun to watch, not so much fun to play against I guess ;)

Not suprised by this match at all - I was suprised that the German match was as close as it was. Congrats to Brazil!

The way Brazil played last night they're going to win the WC with ease next year. They were dominating on all parts of the pitch.

I'd definitely say that they are the favorites going into next year. With a team that loaded again, they're going to be very difficult to beat.

Brasil are just kings at football, and can clearly outclass any team going although sometimes they do have their off days but am sure they will be favs for the next world cup.

Brazil is not yet guaranteed a spot in the WC, I think. They have 3 qualification games remaining and need to win atleast one. Argentina got in as they defeated Brazil in a qualification game in early June.
