when i came into this industry i thought it would be close to as in other fields - resellers would buy up to 50% of what they could sell for (or 100% markup).
but there's so many good deals out there, domainers tend to want much more than that! amazing too - there's much more legwork required selling second hand fridges for less ROI.

you have to be pretty good to be able to predict actual ROIs, but i'd be interested in what people aim for roughly. interesting too if there's a big variation in these figures.
