Nice name, especially for a forum.

The right end user may pay quiet a lot for this, $5000 - $10,000
I think resellers would only pay around $1000 though.

For date of registration then natrually the creation date will show on whois, but to see anything about previous registrations then you can go to alexa.com and use their way back machine. This sometime also gives you links to see what site was previously on it.
I would also take a look at domaintools.com they have some great feature on there.
