Again dear as i said kindly study the FIFA site & you get your answers there.
To be more precise this is not a random link, kindly have a look at the FIFA RSS sections & you will find from where one gets that information & pictures, which thousand other websites might also be using.
Some food for thought : If the image was been hot linked by any means from where one gets the content. As a domain developer one doesn't has enough time to do daily scheduled job of writing content & then put in a logical format against it to link it to the image as from image folder you get only images which can be grabbed via scripts but no text resides there. I hope I am right?
Also I don't really know from where & why you are linking Getty Images with this, and why should ONE even think of paying them in this case?
The content is been syndicated by FIFA.com itself and I am using a FIFA.com feed (RSS) which is open for all.
So before me getting into any problem FIFA itself will get into legal trouble by providing content in any sort of syndication if it's not been owned by them.
Also if using RSS for websites is official not allowed then millions of aggregation website will sink & some of them are really very BIG, one of while I had been involved with very closely.
Yes the content looks as a part of the website, which is nothing wrong. In fact the credit should be given to the web developer for doing such a good job staying within the limits.
Also thanks for providing me Hot Linking, etc definitions but I am well aware of them

.
I had been into this for quite a long time now
Lastly to put the 1% of concern to rest one line in the footer saying "Content/RSS provided by FIFA.com" will do it all.
Link location for random image on your page:
http://www.fifa.com/mm/photo/worldfootball/clubfootball/01/15/24/20/1152420_full-prt.jpg
This is then put into a nice image box AS IF it came from your site.

Have you paid Getty Images?
Getty Images - Unsupported browser detected
Maybe I'm wrong. But it appears to me that you have on YOUR site images that are HOSTED at FIFA.COM that are OWNED by Getty.
I don't see anything that says this has been cleared by Fifa.com which state clearly:
Copyright ยฉ1994 - 2009 FIFA. All rights reserved
You are basically repackaging fifa.com. Good luck with that. I'll just use FIFA anyway.
Hotlinking:

I guess you think you aren't doing this?!

Had to do it, as I can't really put a copyright line to complete the footer. It's something what my developer thought & i agreed to it. He might be soccer fan I have nothing to do much with soccer. For me a new website just means traffic & a few possible extra $

.
but you put "*
Assembled and brought to you by a crazy football fan " at the bottom of the page
