I've been offered to broker this domain for it's owner, I think it's a great TLD match and could be low $xx,xxx.- to an other enduser?

I'd like to know you opinion.

NameBio shows (6) .Company sales since launch (Almost 2 1/2 years ago). They are not exactly flying off the shelves.

The most likely buyer is FoodTruckCompany.com.

I doubt it would sell anywhere near $XX,XXX.
Even $X,XXX is not likely it my view.

It's on the first page for me for 'food truck company' even though it has the "Welkom" not developed. This can be good news and bad.

The full name in org is a Pakistan food truck

foodtruck.net sold less that a year ago for $1500

I believe FoodTruck.us can be bought on sedo for 1k (which I would rather do than pay xx,xxx for this one)

While it's exciting to see the term used by a company that takes old moving vans and guts them and throws food equipment inside, then paints them and sells them to people. the reality is your most likely sale would be an individual truck owner. And they would rather have a catchy name on their truck like Boston Bill's Burritos.

And when you do contact a bigger entity in the food truck business, you will spend your whole time having to convince/explain to them dot company, and answer the question (what's wrong with the name I have now)

Brokering new extensions must be a rough way to make money Good Luck

I saw that too. Not encouraging. At this point it's almost playing the lottery. There is a member here who has been posting .company names that are much better, but I doubt he has sold any (but ask him if you are curious). If he is not having success, nobody will.

And you always have to consider the number of potential end users.

Good way to go BROKE :-P

Well, his asking prices are a bit high, not easy to make a sale.

reg fee, the extension is weak and a food truck end user would never use it since a food truck would never brand itself as "Food Truck Company"

Hi

you shouldn't ask for appraisals on names you don't own

you shouldn't ask for appraisals on names you are "considering" brokering

if.... and that's a big if..... you're a real broker or you wanna be one, then you shouldn't be posting other peoples names on forums, asking for appraisals.

imo....
