domain Please Appraise Softail.com

Hey there...just looking for an opinion of softail.com. I've had this registered since 1997. I've been offered $5000+ for it in the last week by a well known domain name "broker". Any thoughts or advice?

I think the $5k they offered would be a minimum reseller price on this category killer domain.

If you have no plans to develop it I'd go for closer to the $10k range. I think an end user Harley seller might pay $25k. I'd put a lot higher numbers, but people really aren't paying much for the Keyword. .66 cents a click with Medium competition. This could be higher in the spring though.

5k is a fair offer, but with some marketing or getting it in the right auction I think you could do much better.

I allways thought it was soft tail (two t's) when i heard it, but if its the "bomb" version then like ben said a mid xxxx is just minimum "to talk to me price" Your end user would probally be a custom chopper builder. Hold it for another couple years hopefully chopper building fits into the ecomony better
