Follow up on email that is constantly getting re opened by someone

I use email software and can monitor opens. Sometimes a particular person will re open the email I sent like 20-30 times over a 3 day period or something like that. They obviously have a huge hard on for the domain name but when I follow up with something like "I sent you an email last week about xx and I am just following up to see if you had any questions or interest in it". Then I get crickets and no more opens. lol

What could possibly be happening and then go cold. Should I follow up sooner, not at all, differently.
Probably in most cases I would assume they talked to their Partner or SEO guy and they talked them out of it.

Did you quote a BIN in your opening mail ? Maybe they're interested but afraid it could be too pricey, so they don't want to engage contact, or they don't want to look like they are eager to own that name. What you could do is offer to acquire the name for a time-limited BIN price (to create a sense of urgency). But the best is not to be pushy.

I always put BIN price. Often times when I see someone open quite a bit in a short time frame I expect a call or email from them and it does happen maybe half the time but I just can't figure out why not 100%. It must be someone talking them down.

My favorite is the lawyers that email me that they want it and I check the logs and they looked at it for like 1 min and emailed me. They don't need to do stat checking, seo blah blah they know its good and bam. Sale. lol

You are seeing them open the eMail 20-30 times, why are you even considering following up?

You know they are interested, they are just waiting you out to see how desperate you are to sell.

The strongest weapon in negotiations is silence. It's even more powerful than the word "no".

If you see someone opening your messages that much, then let them take the next step.
