I write this with a little fear and trepidation! I am going to put this in the hand reg section as well, but only as a hand reg. I would like to discuss this domain I just registered! Lets go, no holds barred
The community here has been great, so anything you all say I will contemplate and try to make corrective actions! Without further ado . . .
Trumpant.com
Collective wisdom, if a domain can be registered today then it was available yesterday, and no one wanted it then! However, I flat out reject any notion that dismisses Trumpant.com. Obviously Trump is our president currently. If you play spades, you know what trump means. Here is a little more . . .
noun
1.
Cards.
Informal. a fine person; brick.
verb (used with object)
3.
Cards. to take with a trump.
4.
to excel; surpass; outdo.
verb (used without object)
5.
Cards.
6.
trump up, to devise deceitfully or dishonestly, as an accusation; fabricate:
Try as they might, they were unable to trump up a convincing case against him.
Suffix ANT . . .
a person who . . .
inclined to . . .
tending to . . .
EX: applicant, immigrant, servant, brilliant, defiant, vigilant
a suffix forming adjectives and nouns from verbs, occurring originally in French and Latin loanwords (pleasant; constant; servant) and productive in English on this model; -ant, has the general sense “characterized by or serving in the capacity of” that named by the stem (ascendant; pretendant), especially in the formation of nouns denoting human agents in legal actions or other formal procedures (tenant; defendant; applicant; contestant). In technical and commercial coinages, -ant, is a suffix of nouns denoting impersonal physical agents (propellant; lubricant; deodorant). In general, -ant, can be added only to bases of Latin origin, with a very few exceptions, as coolant .
I saw the bolded part, but I still rolled with the French/Germanic/English origin! It absolutely flows!
trumpant means the capacity to excel . . . among other things:
Trump is also a variant of triumph, which is pretty freaking cool, because I was all over that one!
Now on to the brass tacks . . . Who could/would use Trumpant.com? Who is a potential end user?
I think the potential is huge!
Have I lost it?
Thank you for looking and responding!!
