I write this with a little fear and trepidation! I am going to put this in the hand reg section as well, but only as a hand reg. I would like to discuss this domain I just registered! Lets go, no holds barred:) The community here has been great, so anything you all say I will contemplate and try to make corrective actions! Without further ado . . .

Trumpant.com

Collective wisdom, if a domain can be registered today then it was available yesterday, and no one wanted it then! However, I flat out reject any notion that dismisses Trumpant.com. Obviously Trump is our president currently. If you play spades, you know what trump means. Here is a little more . . .
noun
1.
Cards.
  1. any playing card of a suit that for the time outranks the other suits, such a card being able to take any card of another suit.
  2. Often, trumps. (used with a singular verb) the suit itself.
2.
Informal. a fine person; brick.
verb (used with object)
3.
Cards. to take with a trump.
4.
to excel; surpass; outdo.
verb (used without object)
5.
Cards.
  1. to play a trump.
  2. to take a trick with a trump.
Verb phrases
6.
trump up, to devise deceitfully or dishonestly, as an accusation; fabricate:
Try as they might, they were unable to trump up a convincing case against him.

Suffix ANT . . .

a person who . . .
inclined to . . .
tending to . . .
EX: applicant, immigrant, servant, brilliant, defiant, vigilant

a suffix forming adjectives and nouns from verbs, occurring originally in French and Latin loanwords (pleasant; constant; servant) and productive in English on this model; -ant, has the general sense “characterized by or serving in the capacity of” that named by the stem (ascendant; pretendant), especially in the formation of nouns denoting human agents in legal actions or other formal procedures (tenant; defendant; applicant; contestant). In technical and commercial coinages, -ant, is a suffix of nouns denoting impersonal physical agents (propellant; lubricant; deodorant). In general, -ant, can be added only to bases of Latin origin, with a very few exceptions, as coolant .

I saw the bolded part, but I still rolled with the French/Germanic/English origin! It absolutely flows!

trumpant means the capacity to excel . . . among other things:

Trump is also a variant of triumph, which is pretty freaking cool, because I was all over that one!

Now on to the brass tacks . . . Who could/would use Trumpant.com? Who is a potential end user?

I think the potential is huge!

Have I lost it?

Thank you for looking and responding!!

It was regged prior, and 'deleted' not dropped
Have I lost it?
The thing about domains is anyone can (and so many do) find an absolute reasoning to justify the 'great purpose' of a domain(s) they just regged. (The drops are full of them!) So there within is your answer to this.

Actually you are in luck, :)
Trumpant is an actual word. Yes it is.

You can find it's meaning here:

You're Welcome!

This really does make sense. Thank you. I totally get justification . . . lol I love to justify why I did what I did. Is this what you were referring to about deleting:
trumpant.com Domain Hosting History - HosterStats.com
Old Hoster New Hoster Month / Year Zone Date Transaction
DOMAINCONTROL.COM N/A March 2017 2017-04-01 Deleted
N/A DOMAINCONTROL.COM November 2016 2016-12-01 New

Deleting is when I have a domain registered and then basically rescind it before the annual term is up? It was rigged for 4 months and deleted a month ago. That seems odd to me, especially since it isn't even a negative term.

I guess time will tell if it was worth the hand reg or not! I do feel like it was slightly like tugging on super man's cape . . . meaning I am trying to minimize ALL hand regs minus the absolute value of say very few:)

I think you can find a buyer for this, especially being there will be a thousand sites about trump, similar to trump rant , etc

I think brandables are hit or miss.
to some its worth reg fee, to others, hopefully an end user, its worth x,xxx
have you tried to buy a domain name instead of registering one?

Yes indeed! I can confidently say, with embarrassment, that less than 10% of my nearly 300 domains are secondary purchases. I want to flip the percentages believe me!

I picked up:

blvq.com
ftow.com-Would love a tow truck co to come pick this domain up!
hfee.com- Maybe tea party will start to hate fees!
piuu.com- You may not like the others and you may think this is dumb reasoning, but the pronounceable nature and double u are why I got this one.
ojdr.com- Maybe a handyman service who wants odd jobs done right . . .
ekga.com- Maybe a heart surgeon that assesses ekg readings
