..and .info doesnt seem to be going up in price since then, would be hard to repeat

i personally do not see the name as a "category killer", "ask.com killer" or even having "very high potential" - dont forget it's .info and search/directories/q&a/etc niche where it belongs is not where money come into these days

If I could pick up find.info at a drop service in 2013 for $7k I would be all over it. You see how a site like Sedo that targets end users sells a much lower quality name for much more than the drop service that targets resellers?

sure... and if you add some splashy paid wordpress theme you could probably kick Bing out of business too.. in order to kill Google you may need to spend some more on good hosting. godaddy with coupon would do the trick i think

you may want to think for a moment about quite a strange (from domainers point) course of things - absolute majority of succesful online businesses (from search to shopping to social to games) do not use "category killer" keyword domains.
Amazon is not Shop/Shopping.com, Google is not Find/Search.com, Facebook, Yahoo, Twitter etc etc...
which essentially means that domain would not make you a leader or even successful - it's just a small and in fact unneeded (!) part of image/branding/marketing.

Low-Mid $x,xxx as previous better name dot info sales were closer to hyped launch. Dot info is a very popular extension to register due to opening pricing. The fantastic keywords give it a realistic chance but it needs to be valued as is.
