Featured listing on Sedo..

I am planning to list one of my domains on sedo main page.

I think that there may be a cue for listing on sedo main page and I shall have to wait for my number.

Also please tell me if sedo is the good choice for this or some other is better.

How much does it cost for the "Featured Listing" (per domain name and for how long duration, etc)?

Also, how fast will your domain name(s) drop from the thirteen listed on the Home Page ... :gl:

A Sedo featured listing got me about 160 hits, no offers. And judging from the way the hits would cycle, I estimated that it would run on the home page itself once every two or three days, for a total of about 10 hours of homepage exposure in a month's time.

I should say -- Afternic was approximately the same in terms of the amount of increase in terms of hits to the offer page (and also, no offers).

Its costs about $40 per month and domain will be rotated between homepage and featured listing page. I have mailed them to know about the time domain will be listed on homepage.

The good: I've had a couple names receive 1,000+ views from a showcase listing.

The bad: No sales came as a direct result of the showcase listing.

So a good name will get increased exposure, but after that it's up to the domain Gods.

I am unsure that any of your domain names will gain incremental chances of selling in the "Featured Listings" at Sedo (particularly in light of additional investment of $40/month per listing), IMHO. :blink:

So a good name will get increased exposure, but after that it's up to the domain Gods.

As always, it must be perceived as, at least, a good (quality / value / development potential) domain name, generally speaking! :talk:

To be honest, I can't. Sorry, no offense intended, just my opinion.

I do like "LeadingNewspapers.com", though. Consider developing it as a "review" site and that way a company or website that has good things said about them on your site could then advertise, "LeadingNewspapers say this about us..." :hehe:
