The ftp server seems to be patchy at best and the general policy of charging for additional basic features which doesnt sit well with me. I tried to create a protected directory the other day using a .htaccess. It didnt work. Apparently they only support this if you've had url security switched on in your account which of course they charge additional for.
People are always telling me to avoid the little hosting companies but it seems some of the more well known ones are just as bad! Any way rant over and suffice to say I will not be recommending these guys to anymore clients.
