Not quite as cheap by a few cents, but FastHosts.co.uk has been running a promo for .com at .99p as well.

A bit of a hassle to register if you're not in the UK...they had to call me to verify my details. called within 10 minutes of registration and then all was good to buy.

I wouldn't recommend them. There are lot of complaints for that registrar:

This is serious! I have already given them my card details and still waiting for the call as they said but for almost 30" now I have not received any call.

I just hope I 'm not in another problem with this people.

I'd suggest to not go through with any registration. Because registering domain is like a contract over there and they will keep charging even after you transfer out the domain for their so called "service".

Wow. I just read the complaints board and that's terrible. Thankfully the threads are from 2007/2008 and it seems they're all based on hosting (the threads I read), so lets hope they pulled their heads from their asses and treat people better now.

I personally haven't had any problems with them and I was referred by a good friend who's been buying domains there since 2014. He's had no issue with transfer and continual charges. Would I use them for hosting...no.

Regardless we should all use caution when dealing with companies online.
