He is interested in both.
The buyer will pay you the appraised value. It will be fair since he does not want to pay something over the real market value.Based on my experience, I think your name is in $15,000 - $20,000 range. Do you have a certificate of the appraised value? If you don't have it's not a problem. You can order it online.

He needs it from a source he knows and trusts.I’m also interested in a good estimate of the market price because he pays me % on each sale. The process is very easy:1. Go to the certificate agency site (see instructions below) and submit your domain for the certification. Please let them know you have a buyer with $XX,XXX offer. It will help you to get a better valuation. In the comment field please ask them to guarantee that the appraised value will be higher than the appraisal service fee. In this case you will not risk to pay and get a low appraisal. I suggest you this company because they protect you as the seller from getting a low appraised value. They will send you the payment instruction only if your domain is worth $1,000 or higher. Otherwise your request will be declined and you will not pay hem anything. Other companies does not offer this option.2. If your request will be approved, please pay them the fee and wait for 24 hours. Then send me the results via email and we will start the sale process. As soon as he receives your certificate, he will buy your domain via an escrow service. Any escrow service will be able to pay you via Paypal, Wire, Western Union or any other method you prefer.
He wants to ensure the safe delivery of the funds to you. Furthermore, since this is our first time conducting any business, I believe that using a third-party escrow service can provide a safe, well defined sale process.

The certificate must include only 2 things to be accepted by my buyer:1. Independent valuation of the market price. Only manual valuation is accepted. No valuations generated by scripts.

2. Trademark infringement verification. It proves your domain has no trademark problems. He would like this verification to be included in the appraisal report. It's not a problem because some companies include the TM verification for free. You can read about the recommended certification agency at Google Answers:http://archive.answers-google.org/answers/threadview/id/91520684.html (“Domain Broker” is my nickname there).

If you are new to certifications, I can send you step by step instructions.

* I have not answered back. It's a waste of time and a scam. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

You may want to comment on this so the thread is bumped up and not get buried quickly among other postings. New members need to see this before "greg" finds a victim here today :)

Tell him that you need a manual evaluation on his brain to make sure that it's still working.
Also ask him if his mom and dad know what he is doing!

You can pretty much tell from the email address that this is a scam. It is not a UK cctld and 123-reg is a UK company.

Hello to all,
http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
Please all file a Complaint on the IC3 website: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
The IC3 means INTERNET CRIME COMPLAINT CENTER and its from the FBI ( Federal Bureau of Investigation). I filed a complaint a few weeks ago and I have my Complaint #, its easy and fast, they request the IP address of the fraudulent website which is: 188.121.41.139 smartdomainsales.net

I have been robbed by this fraudulent website too, I paid for fake “certifivates or appraisals” and paid for the “premium showcase” to “sell” my domains in the same website too!! The fraudulent website is smartdomainsales.net and I received the same email from the “Domain Broker" <[email protected]> and/or [email protected] The owner of the website according to Whois database is [email protected] and I reported this email on the IC3 Complaint too, so the FBI can track him.

Lets all make a team against the person that owns that scam website, so the FBI can put in jail this scammer soon, take his website down as soon as posible and hopefully we can all get our money back!
Thanks and dont forget to file a Complaint on the IC3 website, its very easy and fast, and it doesnt matter in what country you live, the FBI will investigate all the complaints against this fraudulent website.

Best regards,
OmarVG

This guy is already known for years, there are a lot of people who have received a mail from him.

When an investor really should be interested to buy a domain for 5 figures, why that inverstor should save up on that little certification fee and force the seller to buy it?

By the way, that recommendation site made me laughing a bit.

I just noticed the new Fraudulent website is: http://domaintrademarks.net/ the other smartdomainsales.net redirects to the new one ---> http://domaintrademarks.net/ The owner of the domain is: [email protected] (which is a Fake email, but the same scammer [email protected] ).

The scammer is changing domains because he knows Iam after him! lol He is very pissed off with my actions against him and his fraudulent online "business" PAYBACK IS A B....!! ahahaha

When you filed a complaint on the IC3 please include both websites, thanks.

This idiot "so-called investor" has been active since 2005.
Once an investor insists on getting an "appraisal certificate" that costs $200 from his own fake website. That's an automatic RED-FLAG! Just ignore that goofball and move on. :)
WHEN SELLERS ARE SO DESPERATE TO SELL THIER LOUSY DOMAINS, THEN VULTURES LIKE THIS INVESTOR WOULD THRIVE...

Had a similar message. I phoned and asked 123reg.co.uk directly as I do have a good few domains with them and they told me not to reply as it was a scam and definitely not one of their directors.
