Expired Domain *HELP

Hey, I'm 15 years old and I'm really not very good at all this domain stuff but I need some help. It's kind of a long story so I'll explain as best I can.

I created a community/forum website a little over a year ago through Forumotion for an online game that I play. The original domain name for it was just a free extension off of a forumotion site. I bought my own domain name for it so it would look more professional. I payed something like 20 dollars for a year. Well around November my website was doing pretty well it had a couple thousand members and bunches of posts. Unfortunately Forumotion didn't warn me about renewing my domain name and it expired. Someone else bought it right after it expired and I couldn't find any way to get it back so I gave up. But around a month ago I found out it was in 'Redemption Period' and in 30 days it would go back to public domain so I could buy it. Well the end of the Redemption Period was today and it turns out some company sniped it from me and I can't find any way to but it back. If someone could tell me what to do it would be greatly appreciated.

there is only one way to get your old domain name .
contact the new owner and rquest to buy the domain name from him .

Now wait for a year and see if they renew the domain...

Usually the Registrar will allow 40 days before they open up your domain name. You can try contacting the register and iccan to appeal.

They won't help except to refer you to the new owner.
