Example of TM abuse in registering for .EU

Here is just one example (and there are many believe me) of how a large established corporation is taking a long shot at registering a .eu domain that does not fall within it's area of operations. The name they applied for is WINDENERGY.EU The aplication is still under review with EURID( since December 2005) Here is the url of the company that applied for WINDENERGY.EU http://www.hamburg-messe.de/

They might host an annual trade fair about wind energie... The worst I have seen is the trademark "c&h&a&m&b&e&r&o&f&c&o&m&m&e&r&c&e" used to apply for "chamberofcommerce.eu". Why Eurid didn't replace all the "&" by a "-" ?
