I have been reading an ebook lately and I'm trying to understand what is a "GOOD" niche or "BAD" niche.

EXAMPLE:
Lets say I found a "good" niche ex: keyword "my perfect niche"
If I google that keyword then I get 161 results and 2 sponsored links :)
Acording to wordtracker the keyword gets 1000 searches a day( for ex purpose!it does not!).

In this made up example would "my perfect niche" be a good niche or not according to the above factors??

Now if it is a good niche registering my-perfect-niche.com would put my newly registered domain as TOP result in google when somebody would search for that keyword correct???
Parking the domain with wathever company would increse my uniques/month in a hope that the domain would be in a top spot on google. Correct??

If I'm wrong could somebody give me a good example and explanation.

Thanks in advance

If I understand this correctly ... you could - theoretically - research a particular niche and then (to start) register an example "my-perfect-keyword.com" within that niche and park it for immediate "content", IMHO. You could then "anchor text" link it from other relevant and highly ranked PR sites to add some weight / link juice for SEO. :talk:
Tracking its progress (traffic/hits/revenue) this way may be a good way to see if you're on to something ... with the ultimate goal of developing the domain name into a fully optimized and monetized website within and atop that niche! :gl: :music: :imho:

Hopefully that helps!
