It's True,

If you think you need a good domain to make money online , then you don't know $#@#23,
it's been proven time and time again that you don't.

All the BS you have read and been taught is just that BS, a bucket that doesn't hold any water.

Have you ever wondered why is it that most domainers have such crappy domains for their own blogs, on which they write about how you need a category killer domain name to be successful etc.. hypocrisy at its finest, it's like a fat personal trainer teaching you how to loose weight, it doesn't make any sense or credibility.

here is a domain that will make more money then all of your generics put together ever will,
and its 30 characters long haha, it's an insult to everyone in the domain industry, a spit in the face that says i don't need to buy your crappy domain name to make money online

The Number 1 Way to Make Money Online.com

So how do you respond to that?

Also that site will make money because it's from the creator of BANS and they have flooded the previous buyers with emails. It's quite easy with a user base as large as bans plugged in and ready to be fed more Sh*t and they will buy it. It's like feeding the starving....people want to make money etc.....meh!

First off, I would like to say this thread was actually brought to my attention by my google keyword alert. As far as the comments of the author, he is either very right or very wrong. In my opinion it is 50 / 50, as far as category killer domain names are concerned I honestly don't remember the last time I simply typed in a generic keyword like cars.com or bank.com, so in my book they can be discounted a bit. I went to candy.com recently, with all of the hype surrounding the acquisition of the site and the amount the domain itself sold for I have to be honest, I am not impressed. Infact, I am more impressed with sees.com and they will continue to get my money for candy in the future.

What does this all mean? This means if you don't have a strong brand and you spend all your time and money generating generic keywords, you might actually be wasting your time! In that respect I do agree with the author in what he wrote.

Where I disagree is where the author does discount the notion of a category killer, if they are developed properly and marketed correctly they can be one monster of a combination. So don't discount that fact.

Hi Snoop, this will not really be a challenge because one does not need to look far, there are literally thousands of examples out there, and here on NP, yourself included, just look at everyone's signature domain links, they are all uniformly making that statement.

Post up some examples,

"most domainers have such crappy domains for their own blogs, on which they write about how you need a category killer domain name to be successful"

As I suggested I don't think you will because I can't remember anyone making that statement.

I would change the "1" to "one" to make it even longer. Maybe the address is to long to fit the browsers. Who knows? Sometimes domaining can leave you awake at nights thinking a lot and that might be your problem. Get some sleep.

CONTENT IS KING
But a good domain would bring cash in by itself.

Bad domain+ good content= win

A good domain+ good content= uberwin
