I think it would be great to have a .eu subforum as the Person running the .tv subforum I think this makes for a successful formula so that people interested in a topic have their own sub forum and those who are not interested don't have to see a myriad of threads on a topic they have no interest in. RJ offer the mod spot to a European with great interest in .eu and let them manage. Domain Discussion has really just become .eu discussion so I think this would be a good idea. .EU going to be big and this will keep a focused group of domainers even more totally focused

I like the idea of getting rid of all the .eu's from the main section but I don't agree with ".EU going to be big" - IMO it'll be the same as every other extension out there (like .net/.info).

Where will you draw the line - if .tv and .eu both have a subdomain what about any other extensions that follow or already exist? I don't think .eu is any more special or popular and there seems little point in having a subforum for every new extension.

I'm sure all the fuss about .eu will soon die down once GoDaddy have refunded people.

I would very much like to see a .eu subforum..
not that I'm going to visit it much, but at least the rest of the forums won't be filled with .eu threads then (like they're now).. :)

I think it would probably be a good idea for the .eu domain forum at least for now, as right now is going to be when most of the discussion is going to take place. One year from now, who knows what the hype will be about the extention, but for this initial launch, and all the discussion I think this is well deserved.

Same opinion here...

It would organise all .eu threads!
